What is your mission in the world?
My mission is to uplift, inspire, and empower women to connect deeply with their authentic self and create a life filled with joy and fulfillment.
Through my work as a Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, and Minimalism Consultant I help women embrace the power of simplicity to create space for radical self-love.
I am also wildly passionate about bringing women together to support one another and foster deep, soul level connections. This is the heart of my business and the foundation of the beautiful tribe of soul sisters within The Sacred Sisterhood Movement.
I strongly believe in the power of a group of women coming together to lift each other up and create massive positive impact and change in the world. I make it my mission every single day to support and serve these women and be their guide along this incredible journey we are all on together.
What makes you authentically you?
I wouldn't be authentically me without my passion for helping others, my tendency to lead from my heart, and my positive and optimistic outlook on life.
I am also an avid lover of CrossFit, coffee, and cats. Without this glorious trio in my life I would have a lot less fun and be seriously lacking in both snuggles and motivation.
When do you feel the most confident?
Physically I feel the most confident when I have had a wicked workout or a sweaty yoga session, and then slip into my favourite pair of jeans, a tee, and my converse. After bathing, of course. ;P
Mentally I feel most confident when I am organized, prepare, and know that I am doing something that is within my element and area of expertise.
Emotionally I feel most confident when I am surrounded by my beautiful besties and sisters from another mister. There is just something so magical about the power of sisterhood to uplift, inspire, and empower you to feel your absolute best.
How do you show yourself love and care?
Self-care is a huge part of my life and not just in the "sexy" bubble baths and yoga kind of way that seems to be popping up all over social media these days.
While I greatly enjoy those things, I love to take it to a deeper level and ensure I take care of my core needs before anything else.
I practice self-care each and every day by doing things like eating well, staying on top of my finances, and knowing when to say no to things that aren't in alignment with my vision for my life.
It's nobody's job but mine to love and care for myself and I find the best way to do that is to always take care of my basic needs so that I can create the time and energy for the more peaceful and rejuvenating aspects of self-care.
And finally, what is one truth about yourself that nobody would believe!
It's hard to believe given the type of work I do these days and who my tribe consists of, but I used to actively avoid friendships and connection with other women.
I was working as a Combat Engineer in the Army and it was a very male dominant field. I kept telling myself that I was more comfortable having only male friends and that women just "didn't get me".
I've grown a lot in the last few years and can't imagine what my life would be like without the love and support of all the beautiful women in my life.
I know now that there is a unique and magical type of connection to be shared between our fellow sisters and that there is so much power in connecting deeply with other women.
